Summary:

The Embellishment Developer will be the liaison between Product Development, Art Design and Customer. This role will be customer facing and have direct contact with the customer regarding embellishments.

Job Duties:

• Working knowledge of seasonal category calendars and track all key dates of development.
• Manage customers’ requests and communication for embellishment development.
• Download schematics, customer Trackers for information to the network. Communicate with customers when discrepancy is found on customer information.
• Review Customer Changes to embellishments and communicate changes to all necessary cross functional teams.
• Initiate work requests to Screen Print, Sublimation or Art Development team. Coordinating with Embellishment Planning Team, ETAs and provide tracking information if applicable and updates to customers.
• Request fabric orders for materials and follow up until item is received for development.          
• Advise costing team when there are new developments or changes during development.
• Follow up strike off process, to ensure development is keeping to customer’s calendar.
• Send strikeoff shipments to customer.
• Create and manage Embellishment Development Trackers or Queues for Screen Print, Sublimation and Art/Design.                                      
• Samples that require testing fill out testing request forms and coordinate samples tracking with internal and external labs.                          
• Production Release Stage: Responsible for reviewing all Customer comments and communicating comments to necessary team members.
• Manage Modified Art priorities by partnering with the Product Development team.
• Identify any variations in embellishment workflows between Development and Production.
• Manage KPIs for each Embellishment Development Process such as Screen Print, Sublimation, Color Development, Art and Design
• Participate in weekly development calls with customers & factories.                                     
• Schedule and lead internal team meetings if needed.   
• Participate in daily team meetings in the Product Development and Embellishment Development areas                                                     

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in development.
• 100percent Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SmartSheet.
